ECONOMIC IMPACT 

Hitler had three main economic policies :

  1. To reduce unemployment 

  2. To build up German weapon industry 

  3. To achieve autarky or economic self sufficiency - Germany would be able to survive without relying on imports from other countries    

Re-employment ​

  • The government introduced ReichLabour Service that employed jobless people in government building projects and oublic works such as Schools , highways (autobahns), hospitals  were built using this labour .

  • Consciption was also reintroduced in 1935 

  • Women were made to stop working and Jews were removed from their jobs .
